The New York State Gaming Facility Location Board (Board) received eight applications in response to the Request for Applications (RFA) to Develop and Operate a Gaming Facility in New York State before the 4 p.m., June 27, 2025 deadline. Application materials for each proposal are expected to be posted on nycasinos.ny.gov over the course of the next week.
Project-specific Community Advisory Committees are being formed to demonstrate public support for the proposed project. Committee members are appointed by the elected representatives representing the physical location of the proposed project. The Appointing Authorities for each corresponding Community Advisory Committee have been notified of their obligation to appoint members as soon as possible. Committees are expected to form and begin work in early July. Information about the Committee activities will be posted on nycasinos.ny.gov.
